Ingredients
4 (6 oz) Aspen Ridge® Natural Angus Beef Filet Mignon
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tablespoon peppercorns
1/2 Tablespoon paprika
1/2 Tablespoon coarse salt
1/2 Tablespoon dried garlic or granulated garlic
1/2 Tablespoon dill seed
1/2 Tablespoon red pepper flakes
1/2 Tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/4 cup salted butter, softened
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 Tablespoon fresh chopped basil
1 garlic clove, minced
Preparation
-
Combine all steak seasoning ingredients in a small bowl. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and generously season both sides with the steak seasoning.
-
Place the steaks in a shallow dish with olive oil. Allow them to marinate in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes.
-
While the steaks are marinating, prepare the basil butter: combine the butter, blue cheese, basil, and garlic in a small bowl. Place in the refrigerator for later.
-
Preheat the air fryer to 450° F. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Transfer the steaks to a foil covered plate to rest for 2 minutes. You can place the blue cheese basil butter over the steaks to melt while they are hot and resting.
