1 lb Aspen Ridge® Natural Ground Beef

12 slices of bacon

3 Tbsp butter

1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced

¾ cup beef stock

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp onion powder

½ Tbsp cracked black pepper

½ tsp salt

2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4 kaiser burger buns, sliced

8 slices smoked cheddar cheese

1 head Romaine lettuce

1 tomato, sliced

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Top a large, foil-lined baking sheet with a wire rack. Place bacon in single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes until it’s crispy.
  3. Preheat a large pan over medium heat. Add butter and melt until foam has subsided.
  4. Add sliced onion and cook until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  5. Add beef stock, bring to a simmer, and reduce until almost evaporated. Transfer onions to dish.
  6. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  7. In a small bowl, mix garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  8. Add dry mixture to ground beef and mix.
  9. Add Worcestershire sauce to ground beef mixture.
  10. Form ground beef mixture into four patties.
  11. Grill burger 5-7 minutes on each side, until an internal temperature of 160°F or the burger is cooked to your liking.
  12. Place two slices of cheese on top of the burger during the last 30 seconds of cooking and close grill lid to melt.
  13. Add one patty, 3 slices of bacon, and ¼ of the onions to each bun. Top with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and sliced tomato. Enjoy!
