- Melt shortening in large skillet; brown meat on all sides. Stir in consommé, cranberry cocktail, soy sauce, garlic, and onion salt. Heat to boiling.

- Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
