Ground Beef Hot Honey Burger with Coleslaw

Add some sweet heat to your summer BBQ with our spin on a Nashville Hot sandwich.

Ingredients

1 pound Aspen Ridge® Natural ground beef

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons salted butter

1 tablespoon hot sauce

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 tablespoon cracked black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

4 potato burger buns, sliced

16 ounces store-bought coleslaw

Preparation

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, butter, and hot sauce. Stir continuously until butter is melted and honey has become thin. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Add dry mixture to ground beef and mix.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce to ground beef mixture.
  6. Form ground beef mixture into 4 patties.
  7. Grill burgers 5-7 minutes on each side, until an internal temperature of 160 F or the burgers are cooked to your liking.
  8. Place a burger on each bun. Top with hot honey and 2 tablespoons of coleslaw. Enjoy!
